The Columbia Chamber of Commerce proudly offered 2 scholarships for the 2018 school year. For more information about each of the scholarships- please read below.
The Columbia Chamber of Commerce Scholarship is available to any graduating senior of Columbia, Midview or Keystone Local Schools in Lorain County that is a current graduating high school senior aspiring to attend a two-year or four-year college, trade school, technical institute, or other postsecondary education program.
Application process is open from February 15th through April 1st each year.
Criteria for Applying for and Receiving this Scholarship:
The applicant must be a graduating senior of Columbia, Midview or Keystone Local Schools in Lorain County
The applicant must be a current graduating senior in high school or vocational school.
The applicant must be accepted to attend a two-year or four-year college, trade school, technical institute, or other post-secondary education program by the scholarship application deadline.
The applicant will postal mail a current copy of their high school transcript or report card demonstrating their unweighted cumulative grade point average (CGPA) and copy of their school's acceptance letter. Only one current copy of their high school transcript or report card and copy of their school's acceptance letter is required to be sent to the foundation to fulfill multiple foundation scholarship requirements.
The applicant must not be an immediate relative of any of the Columbia Community Foundation's or the Columbia Chamber of Commerce's officers or directors.
