Marnie Butler has been a resident of Columbia Station most of her life and is a graduate of Columbia High School and a member of The Columbia United Methodist Church. She has been an active member of the Columbia Homecoming Committee before officially joining the Columbia Chamber of Commerce.
She was crowned as the very first festival queen in 1986, when the festival was then know as The Columbia Blueberry Festival. She is currently the "Official Festival Announcer" and "Battle of the Bands Director". She also has served as the pageant director from 1989-1996, returned to co-direct the pageant in 2005 to help rebuild the program. Marnie served as the Secretary for the Columbia Chamber of Commerce in 2006, 2007 & 2008. Currently she is serving as the Director of Marketing and Communications and is a Board Member for the Chamber.
Marnie is an independant distributor for Market America.
Marnie is a graduate of Bryant & Stratton Business Institute, The Ohio Center For Broadcasting, and Hondros College. She as two children, Mason and Halle and resides in Avon Lake, Ohio.
